EU Cybersecurity Act – Shaping Belgium’s digital future
22 May 2022 – Cyber Security Coalition
For members only
The EU Cybersecurity Act introduces an EU-wide cybersecurity certification framework for ICT products, services and processes. Companies doing business in the EU will benefit from having to certify their ICT products, processes and services only once and see their certificates recognized across the European Union.
Since June last year, much progress has been made with the creation of a national cybersecurity certification authority (NCCA). In Belgium, the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) performs this function and represents our country at EU level in the European Cybersecurity Certification Group.
Mr. Johan Klykens, Head of Certification Services at the CCB, will update us on the latest developments and Professor Bart Preneel of KULeuven will explain the limitations of the “common criteria”.
Join us on June 23rd to discover more about this crucial legislation and how it may impact your organization.
