GRC: Be Connected!

Strengthening cyber capacity & expertise

In order to stay connected, the Cyber Security Coalition, ISACA Belgium and the Solvay Brussels School have joined forces to launch “GRC Be connected” to provide an opportunity for experience and knowledge sharing until we resume in-person meetings hopefully later in this New Year

The webinars with practical and hands-on case studies will help you to learn about information security governance and management, reducing enterprise risk, meeting global compliance standards, as well as applying audit practices and using the ISACA knowledge of bodies to deliver solutions. By applying these skills to the tasks and challenges you face in your work, you will be able to deliver stronger and more compliant solutions to managing cyber related risks and applying information governance roles and responsibilities.

Opening the “GRC Be Connected” sharing event will be

  • Mr. Karel De Kneef (SWIFT), who will highlight why cybersecurity is essential for all professions;
  • Mr. Umut Inetas (Ahold Delhaize), who will give an overview of cybersecurity activities based on the NIST cybersecurity framework;
  • Mr. Vilius Benetis (NRD Cyber Security), who will present the CSX program, and how it interrelates to modern Cybersecurity Incident Response practices and models.

Subsequent webinars will address Information Security Governance (16/2), Risk Assessment (9/2), Audit (23/2) and Information Security Management (23/3). In the last webinar (30/3) a challenge will be pitched and tackled by a panel of experts and practitioners.

Join us and find out how you can propel your own career and raise the bar in governance and risk management in your organization.

Do not hesitate to invite your colleagues to participate in the webinars. They can register through this link.

We are looking forward to meeting you at our first webinar on January 26th (1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)!
