We propose the following agenda for the following meeting of the NIS Focus Group:

  • Mr. Pieter Byttebier, Head of International Policy, EU Affairs & National Coordination at Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB), will update us on the latest developments regarding the proposal for a revised NIS Directive (NIS2).
  • The European Commission has presented a proposal for a new Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) to protect consumers and businesses from products with inadequate security features. A first ever EU-wide legislation of its kind, it introduces mandatory cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements, throughout their whole lifecycle. Mr. Byttebier will introduce us to this new proposed regulation.
  • In accordance with Article 48.2 of the Cybersecurity Act (EUCSA), ENISA has set up an Ad Hoc Working Group (AHWG) to work on the preparation of the candidate scheme on cloud services, as part of the European Cybersecurity Certification Framework. Mr. Johan Klykens, Director of the National Cybersecurity Certification Centre (CCB), will bring us the latest news regarding this Cloud Scheme.
