6,491,641 Belgians help cyber criminals unwittingly.

With that slogan the Centre for Cyber Security (CCB) together with the Cyber Security Coalition launched the largest awareness campaign about cyber security in Belgium ever.

Millions of Belgians secure their computer, tablet or smartphone insufficiently or not at all. The campaign also calls on the public to scan their computer for viruses and protect themselves against cyber criminals. Protecting your device can be done by using a good virus scanner, ensuring your program updates and making backups.

On the website www.safeonweb.be you can scan your device for viruses and get tips on how to improve your security.
