Belgium’s Cyber Personality of the Year will be announced during a ceremony on October 7th, 2022. The on-site event in Brussels is by invitation only, but anyone can subscribe for free to the live-streaming.

Our hosts will be Mr. Pieter Timmermans, CEO of the Federation of Belgian Enterprises and Mrs. Séverine Waterbley, President of the Federal Public Service Economy, SMEs, Middle Classes & Energy and Director of the Coalition.

Our guest of honour will be Minister Ludivine Dedonder (Belgian Defence), who will hand over the trophy to the winner.

The fact that we have cyber security is not a given, but through commitment and capabilities, we can surmount the many challenges and seize opportunities ahead. We will also be more successful in this endeavour if we build a strong European cybersecurity ecosystem.

That is why we are pleased that Mr. Yann Bonnet, Deputy CEO of Campus Cyber France and Mr. Jean-Noël de Galzain, President of Hexatrust and Founder & CEO of Wallix Group, will be our guest speakers. We are looking forward to hearing from them how France is shaping the public-private partnership and addressing the growing European concern of cyber sovereignty.
