As the online world has become a cornerstone of our society, cybersecurity has also become increasingly important for our professional and private lives.  Past attacks on the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data, products, services, and networks have since long demonstrated the need for a constant commitment to cybersecurity.  More recent events show also that not only enterprise actors, but also democratic bodies and civilians are the target of cyberattacks.

Against this background, the Microsoft Cybersecurity Policy Forum aims to bring together local cybersecurity experts who will share their practical experiences and best practices in relation to cybersecurity, and with regard to the fight against attacks, ransomware, and other forms of cyber intrusion.  Furthermore, the Forum gathers a number of renowned political experts who will look back at past cybersecurity achievements of the European Union and who will share their vision on how the EU cybersecurity policy should be shaped towards the future.
