The Cyber Security Coalition is organizing several workshops on the NIS Directive with the aim to bring together the needs of security professionals, public authorities, and the relevant industries for a constructive dialogue and exchange of experiences on implementation approaches and issues.

The workshops fit within the ‘Cybersecurity in Industry 4.0’ project – a living lab focussing on industrial security. This project has been launched by HOWEST/ UGhent and is funded by the Vlaio (Flemish government). The Cyber Security Coalition is a partner of both academic institutions in this project.

This first workshop will concentrate on the water distribution industry. Subsequent workshops will focus on digital service providers, energy, transportation and healthcare.

We are convinced that a cross-sector exchange of experiences can help impacted organizations achieve compliance with the Belgian legislation transposing this Directive as they share common challenges and implementation issues.

We hope to welcome you at our workshop!
