GRC: Be Connected! – Information Security Governance
16 February 2021 – Cyber Security Coalition
GRC: Be Connected!
Information Security Governance matters now more than ever!
In order to stay connected, the Cyber Security Coalition, ISACA Belgium and the Solvay Brussels School have joined forces to launch “GRC Be connected” to provide an opportunity for experience and knowledge sharing until we resume in-person meetings hopefully later in this New Year.
The webinars with practical and hands-on case studies will help you to learn about information security governance and management, reducing enterprise risk, meeting global compliance standards, as well as applying audit practices and using the ISACA knowledge of bodies to deliver solutions. By applying these skills to the tasks and challenges you face in your work, you will be able to deliver stronger and more compliant solutions to managing cyber related risks and applying information governance roles and responsibilities.
In this webinar, we will focus on Information Security Governance.
- Mr. Filip De Wolf, Director of Approach Belgium, will present the key challenges a CISO is facing and give useful guidelines how to tackle them.
- Mrs. Karine Goris, Head of Digital Security, IT Risk and DRP at Belfius, will share best practices for an effective information security governance.
- Prof. Ataya of Solvay Brussels School will explain how COBIT can help you in being successful in IT governance.
Other webinars will address Cybersecurity Activities & Knowledge (26/1), Risk Management (9/2), Audit (23/2) and Information Security Management (23/3). In the last webinar (30/3) a challenge will be pitched and tackled by a panel of experts and practitioners.
Join us and find out how you can propel your own career and raise the bar in governance and risk management in your organization.
Do not hesitate to invite your colleagues to participate in the webinars. They can register through this link.
We are looking forward to meeting you on February 16th (1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.)!
