We are excited to invite you to our upcoming Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) Workshop. As stewards of data protection and privacy, this workshop promises to be an engaging and insightful session. 

Following two preparatory sessions discussing the method and risk analysis, the March Workshop provides a hands-on opportunity to conduct a DPIA on a real use case. You will first receive a presentation of the use case and subsequently work in small groups to identify risks and impact on the data subject, assess the likelihood, and propose additional mitigation actions. 

The use case will address the Know Your Customer (KYC) process. KYC is the mandatory process of identifying and verifying the client’s identity when opening an account or contract and the use of technology and software tools to streamline and enhance the customer onboarding and due diligence process. 

Results and findings from the teams’ discussions will be shared in a common debriefing session, fostering knowledge exchange and collective insights. 

We look forward to your active involvement in advancing DPIA best practices and methodologies.
